Christmas Eve Eve

On the Eve of Christmas Eve we headed up to Midway for Tay's moms side of the family Christmas party. This time of year is absolutely crazy, but I love seeing so much of my family and my friends. At the party we just had yummy food, watched the Utah Football Bowl game, had a little Christmas program, opened presents, and hung out. Their home is such a fun place to hang out. Our babies also seem to love being in different environments and it is nice to have others holding them for a minute. Love family! Scott and Teddy are in town and I'm sure going to miss them when they go back!
This top picture is actually from sunday dinner, but I had to post it b/c Mckaylee's cute little rolly polly stomach is showing. Crystal is such an amazing grandma!
Grandma Eileen with her two little Christmas presents

Joe doesn't usually hold babies (and neither did Taylor pre Mckaylee and Stockton) so I had to take a picture to document the occasion.

Cannon fam damily ski day

For Christmas this year, Tay's dad decided to do a family ski day. I was the only snowboarder! Total outcast...not only are they all skiers, but they're good! Luckily my mother in law and little half brother Spencer were with me in the skills department or else I would've felt like even more of a loser. Crystal mastered the bum slide down the mountain, I mastered heel side, and Spencer lowly made his way down the mountain. With that said, we had a great time! I'm going to be honest and say that I get so miserably cold!! I am such a winer when I'm cold and I could not get warm! After 2 runs I went and had hot soup and hot chocolate and didn't want to go back out. I'm such a wuss! I ended up leaving a little early, but I still had a great time. I would have to say that I'm more of a spring skier :)

The whole fam dam
It was not the best conditions for skiing. Really flat lighting, windy, snow pelting the face, and extreme coldness.

The Cannon girls with pops
It has been 8 years since Tay and I have skied together...I have a feeling he won't want to go again with me anytime soon. We still had a great time! He is an amazing skier. It was fun to see his skills. Thanks Cregg for the fun ski day!

Catch up post

I've been slacking, so this post is going to be really random. I figure I better put something up before all the real christmas pictures come up.

Haooy Birthday Eileen!!! We went up to Heber last week to celebrate Tay's moms birthday. We had a great time with the family!
Sexy?

He should be a model

Grandma feeding my baby girl

We had a Daybreak Christmas get together at Brittany & Tyler Allens house. We just ate and did a white elephant exchange, but we had a ton of fun!

Do you love the "Max Hall Hates Me" T-shirt.

My mother in law wanted pictures of the babes for her christmas card. They weren't very happy the whole time.

This is basically what they did the entire time...cute?

Boston is such a protector of the babies

I took our primary care NICU nurse to lunch last week. She has been amazing with our babies. I can't tell you how much I adore how much she loves them. Thank you Hillari for loving my babes!

Grandma Crissy cuddling Mckaylee. Crystal has helped SO SO SO much with my babes! I am so thankful for her!

I don't know if you can see, but Stockton is holding his binkie in his mouth. Such a big boy. The one bad thing about having opposite sex twins is a lot of the time Stockton ends up with the pink boys and vice versa. I hope they figure me later on in life!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am grateful for so many things in my life right now. I love Thanksgiving because it gives us time to reflect on the things we are so blessed with. On our way to Thanksgiving dinner Tay and I were talking about the things we're grateful for. The list is long, but here are a few:
-Our new little family. A year ago I would never have guessed we would have 2 beautiful children. They are such a blessing in our lives. I can't even describe how much I love Stockton and Mckaylee. Their smiles and little gestures just melt me. I can't imagine my life without them.
-I'm so grateful for truly the most amazing husband in the world! I knew he would be a good daddy, but I don't think I really knew how good of daddy he would be. He helps me SO much! From the minute he gets home from work until the babies go down to bed, he is holding, feeding, or playing with at least one of them. When Mckaylee wasn't sleeping through the night he got up just as much as I did to feed her. He was up every 2-3 hours and never complained. He likes his sleep, but has sacrificed so much for his children. Because there are two babies he's put in a position where he is just as much of a dad as I am a mom. He is so cute with them and you can see how much he loves them by the way he treats them.
-In this economic time I'm so grateful for Tay's job. He's been doing pharmaceutucal sales since May and absolutely loves it. It's so great to have a husband who is so happy in their job. He truly loves what he does and it is the perfect job for him right now and makes it so I can stay home with our children. (although I'm back at work part time for right now).
-I'm grateful for family. With the birth of our children we have come to realize how helpful our family is. My mom takes care of them all the time and is such an amazing grandmother. I don't know if I could do it without her (and my dad of course). Her life revolves around her grandkids. I look up to her and her selflessness. I love her so much! I know anyone of my family members would drop anything to help me.
-My in-laws. I am especially grateful for Crystal & Cregg. Having them live so close is such a blessing! They love seeing the babies and Crystal has taken care of them alot. She is so cute with them and there have been many times where they have saved us. It has been fun to grow closer with them from living in Daybreak. I wish Tay's mom lived closer so she could see the babies more, and I know she would be with the babies all the time if she could.
-The Gospel & Temples- Although we have slacked in this area, words can't explain how grateful I am for the gospel. I have been blessed my whole life and am in forever debt to my heavenly father. Without the gospel I'd be lost. I am also grateful for temples and the feeling they give you. I love looking out on my porch and seeing the vibrantly lit up temple. It reminds you daily to strive to be a better person.
-My friends. I've been blessed with so many great friends. I have such great highschool friends that I still see all the time and love too death. I've also met so many good friends from my old neighborhood in highland park and from our new neighborhood in daybreak. I feel like I've known some of these girls forever! We are surrounded by so many amazing people! i know that there was a reason for each house we've lived in and although I never thought I'd be living in daybreak, it was the best decision we've ever made! We love it here and don't see ourselves moving for a long time.
-My health. I'm grateful that I have a body that can take care of 2 babies. I'm grateful for joints that let me run with little pain. I'm grateful for the energy I have, The human body is incredible and I'm so grateful for the health I have. You don't realize what you have until its gone or until it is hurting.
-There are countless things I'm so blessed with. I'm so grateful for food, clothes, a home, our prophet, leaders, the book of mormon, etc...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

New Moon, Bridal photo shoot, and cutest fans ever!

This is a random post, but I have a few pictures i've been meaning to put up... First off my cute hubby likes sports so we dressed our adorable kids up this lasi week for both the Utah football game and the Utah Jazz game. Aren't they adorable?

GO UTES!

This one is harder to see, but their onesies say "Go Jazz" on them.

NEW MOON MIDNIGHT PREMIERE
On November 20th I went to the New Moon Premiere with a group of girls in my neighborhood. I didn't go to dinner before because the babies are always a bit more difficult at night, but I put the babies down at met them all. It was so much fun! Thanks for the fun girls night out!

Some people got totally decked out. I didn't know these ladies, but I thought they were hilarious so we had to get a picture with them.

Me, Marissa Schenemen, Tibett Coleman, and Megan Whitney before the movie.

Heather Brown, Katie Woodward and I getting some sugar and caffeine to help us stay awake

This was a few of the girls before dinner. I wasn't there, but this was 1/2 of the group I went with.
Too much fun! I'm already looking forward to the next one!

Lastly, a few weeks ago my highschool friends and I were asked to do a Vogue bridal shoot for my friends sister in law who is a photographer. Her name is Emily Brown and she is amazing. Check her out at www.emilybrownphotography.blogspot.com. I loook like an idiot in these pictures, but we had a blast and it's a fun picture to have.

HAPPY NOVEMBER

Things to be grateful for...A good nights sleep...

I don't know if last night was a fluke, but my alarm went off at 5:30 am and Tay & I looked at each other and realized that our babies hadn't woken up since we put them down at 9:00 am! Mckaylee has consistently been sleeping 7+ straight hours for the last week so I wasn't shockedby her, but Stockton has never gone more than 5 hours. I'm still in shock! I hope this is a turn of a new leaf! Or it was someone giving me a break because I didn't get more than 3 hours the night before because of the New Moon midnight premeire. Whatever the reason is THANK YOU!

Baby Blessing

On Sunday November 1st we blessed Stockton & Mckaylee. It was one of the neatest days of my life. To see my husband blessing our children, to feel the spirit so strongly, and to know these angels are the most amazing gift from our Heavenly Father was the most incredible feeling. The day couldn't have gone any better. We blessed them in the morning and then had an early lunch over at Cregg and Crystals. We had so much love and support. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME!!! It meant more than you know! Here are a few pictures...
My mom and dad with all 11 of their grandchildren

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
I took my kiddos and met my sister at Gardner Village the day before Halloween. It was pretty cold so I didn't take very many pictures. It was fun having my sister in town!
Halloween night we went to dinner with some friends. Here are our babies...they were all so good and slept the whole time.

Yes I tortured my children and put make up their faces. It was just too cute.
Proud Grandma and Grandpa. Thats why we love having Tay's dad in Daybreak with us. They came overon Halloween and fed the babies and watched the U game with us. We love you guys!

First Family Pictures

Alot of you have seen these pictures from facebook, but for those of you that haven't please enjoy. A few weeks ago our little family went up to Park City and had our pictures taken by our sister in law Jenny. There was this neat area just off of Main Street where we did it. Jenny's an amazing photographer. I love my little family!!! A year ago I had no idea that my life would've changed so much. I am so happy and beyond grateful for the blessings in my life.
